We are so happy you are exploring how to become a foster parent in La Crosse county with CCR. We have many foster families in La Crosse county and are always in need of additional foster homes with flexible schedules to care for kids ages 3-18 and sibling groups.
Our professional, experienced team is available 24/7 to provide foster parents in La Crosse county with all the support services needed to care for children with trauma histories. Upon getting a foster care license, a Clinical Case Manager will be assigned to your home. The CCM will provide weekly in-home visits to offer all the support needed to care for children successfully. In addition, Case Managers visit the children either at school or at home every week. Our foster parents appreciate and depend on weekly home visits for support and guidance.
So, what is the difference between CCR and other agencies?
If you are interested in younger children, we would like to ask that you are open to helping children up to age 10. Of course, our greatest need is homes for teens, but we place all ages and all sizes of sibling groups too. It is okay to have a preference for the age group you wish to help.
If you qualify to be a foster parent and can provide a flexible schedule, love, and stability to children needing a loving home, we would love to speak with you.
