Become a Sauk County foster parent
Sauk county foster parents play a special role in the lives of children and youth who cannot remain with their families for various reasons related to abuse and neglect. Providing a temporary home to a child or sibling group in need of a safe, caring home can be a rewarding experience.
Sauk County requires foster parents to be:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Able to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprints.
- In good health, both physically and mentally.
- Financially stable.
- Willing to complete the licensing process and 30 hours of training.
- Able to provide a bed and ample space for a child(ren).
